Do you file the return?

No. The client's own CPA or accountant files, and Salt maintains the books and hands over reconciled, review-ready data. The split is deliberate: filing and sign-off sit with the person registered to do them.

Do you audit the accounts?

No. Salt does not perform audits or any attest work in any market. The books are kept in a state where the client's own accountant or auditor can review them without reworking the data first.

Our accountant wants the handoff in a particular format. Can you match it?

Yes, and it has to be done per accountant rather than per template. Different CPAs want the data in different shapes, so the final format on these engagements was adapted to each accountant's own filing workflow instead of being run off one standard export.

How much of my time does this take each month?
