Tax Preparation & Filing in the United Kingdom

We take your tax from a deadline you dread to a process that's simply handled. Delivered to FRS 102 / UK GAAP for UK businesses, priced in GBP.

Why UK businesses choose Salt

UK annual compliance is four deadlines that most founders experience as one vague sense of dread in the autumn. Corporation tax payment, the CT600, the Companies House accounts and the director's Self Assessment all draw on the same year of bookkeeping — and they are due at four different times.

Corporation tax is payable nine months and one day after the accounting period ends. Companies House wants the accounts nine months after your accounting reference date. HMRC wants the CT600 at twelve months. Directors and sole traders then have Self Assessment on 31 January. We prepare all four from one closed set of FRS 102 accounts.

Standards and authorities

The framework your United Kingdom accounts are held to.

We prepare to UK GAAP (FRS 102) or IFRS, as adopted. These are the bodies that set that framework and the authorities you file with — linked so you can verify the standard rather than take our word for it.

Listed for reference. Salt Accounting Group is not stating membership, registration or affiliation with any of these organisations. Where a filing must be lodged by a registered local agent, it is — your agent keeps the lodgement and the professional sign-off.
